Abstract
Introduction and aims of the study: Human implantation is a complex process requiring synchrony between a healthy embryo and a functionally competent or receptive endometrium. Three-dimensional ultrasound has been proposed as a promising and non-invasive tool for evaluating endometrial parameters. The aim of this review is to evaluate whether endometrial parameters such as morphology, thickness, volume and vascularity measured by three-dimensional ultrasound (3D U/S) and power Doppler angiography (PDA) can predict in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) outcome.
