Abstract

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most common cause of vertigo. Many affected patients have mild to moderate symptoms and are easily treated as outpatients. In others, BBPV can have a profound effect on function, independence, and quality of life. The purpose of this study is to determine hospital admission rates of patients with BPPV with a focus on diagnostics and treatment.
