Abstract
Designers, who are in charge of industrial vehicle development, the improvement by the three-dimensional CAD introduction is hard to be said to have appeared clearly; despite they use three-dimensional CAD in their work now. The reason is that three-dimensional CAD is not effectively used through the product development process because of the lack of standardized process and its practical countermeasures. We have built the optimized development process, which use three-dimensional CAD efficiently, and prepared many standard rules and built PDM system to handle the three-dimensional CAD data to apply this new process. We use "E-Methodology" to analyze current process and to build new optimized process. We report this approach to improve the industrial vehicle development process and the evaluation of the result adapted to actual development programs.
