Abstract

In women averaging 10 years following gestational diabetes (GDM), the American Diabetes Prevention Program trial demonstrated reduced diabetes after pregnancy (DAP) with health behaviour change. Recent trials for women within 5 years of GDM are neither large enough nor long enough to measure incident diabetes. Such shorter-term trials are needed before investing in large trials. We conducted an online 2-round Delphi survey as a step to develop an international core outcome set (COS) for shorter-term DAP prevention studies.
