Abstract
Dyspnea is the most common presenting symptom of acute decompensated heart failure (HF) to the emergency department (ED). Correct and early diagnosis is essential to prevent adverse outcomes. This study aimed to determine whether B-type Natriuretic peptide (BNP) testing in patients presenting with dyspnea to the ED improves the accuracy of diagnosis of HF.
