Abstract
Introduction: Klippel–Trenaunay Syndrome (KTS) is a rare congenital vascular disorder characterized by the association of capillary malformations, venous varicosities, and limb hypertrophy. Pregnant women with KTS are exposed to an increased risk of aggravation of KTS symptoms, venous thromboembolic events and severe postpartum haemorrhage partly due to the physiological increase in venous pressure, venous stasis and increased cardiac output during pregnancy. Literature review reports few cases but numerous obstetrical complications.
