Abstract
When a driver in a following vehicle was looking aside while driving, the situation in which the preceding vehicle decelerated and told danger to the driver in the following vehicle by the forward collision warning was assumed. It was examined how driver's braking operation was influenced by the missing alarm or the false alarm. The results show that for missing alarms, the braking reaction time was delayed about 0.5 seconds compared to correct warnings.
