Abstract
Suicide is prevalent in the college-age population, and mental health treatment often is delivered exclusively on campus. College campuses are unique environments, and the impact of a student suicide is felt across campus in the student’s residential, academic, and social communities. Participants will learn about the following: 1) the role of crisis response teams on college campuses; 2) the relationship of these teams with counseling centers; and 3) the issue of confidentiality on campus.
