Abstract

Logistics in production systems become including high variety and small-lot products, and just-in-time delivery is also required to fulfill customer needs. It is important to build proper plan to improve efficiency of the logistics. In this study, multi-agent learning based scheduling method for logistics based on evolutionary artificial neural networks (EANN) is proposed. It is expected that both near optimal and adaptive solution can be obtained according to cooperation among learning agents. Computer simulation is conducted to confirm the validity of the proposed method.
