Abstract

A combustion process in an S.I. engine has been simulated using the Fractal Dimension Growth Model. The computed pressure and the rate of heat release agree well with measured ones for three different excess air ratios at the same engine speed. However, the model needs improvements for the cases of different engine speeds.
