Abstract

Ichthyoses form a heterogeneous group of well-defined inherited skin diseases. However, the comorbidity of these cornification disorders needs to be further investigated, as psoriasiform skin lesions and/or atopic manifestations may be observed in many affected individuals. We recruited 64 patients with ichthyoses, 29 psoriasis and 37 atopic dermatitis (AD) patients, assessed the disease severity by the Ichthyosis Area Severity Index (IASI; 0-48) and pruritus characteristics by the Neuroderm Questionnaire.
