Abstract

The use of ventricular assist devices (VADs) in pediatric heart failure (HF) has increased dramatically in recent years, despite high rates of morbidity and mortality. We reviewed all patients (pts) at our center who were placed on centrifugal continuous flow VADs (CentriMag, PediMag) to assess the relationship of flow rates to complications and outcomes.
