Abstract
The discussion of individual titles occasionally refer to the esoteric-exoteric distinction, and in certain cases a work is assigned to one category or the other. But it is also possible that it contained one or more of the four, or perhaps it overlapped on one or more to some degree. The second title, like the fourth and fifth titles in that, reference is made to subject matter, but it differs in that it refers to four different kinds of subject matter - the political, natural or physical, erotic and ethical - and not one kind of subject matter - nature - as in the fourth and fifth titles.
