Abstract

Withdrawal dyskinesia (WD) is involuntary, choreiform movements of the neck, trunk, and extremities, thought to be caused by the discontinuation or dose change of antipsychotics, and may be considered a subtype of tardive dyskinesia (TD). The objectives of this study are to review the available literature, identify clinical features, discover potential causes, and explore potential treatment options for WD.
