Abstract

Stimulants are the recommended pharmacological treatment of choice for children and adolescents with ADHD, but there is no consensus in the field regarding the benefits and harms of methylphenidate. This Cochrane systematic review is an update of the first comprehensive systematic review on the topic conducted in 2015. The review is investigating the benefits and harms of methylphenidate treatment for children with ADHD.
