Abstract

A 3.8 μm secondary mid-infrared parametric amplifier based on MgO:PPLN crystal was analyzed. At a repetition frequency of 140 kHz and an initial amplified signal source power of 1 W, the maximum output power of the first-level 3.8 μm laser is 3.03 W. Perform second-level OPA experiment to obtain higher output power. Under the premise that the initial amplified signal source power is 2.5 W, the output power of the 3.8 μm laser is 4.69 W, the output wavelength line width is 3.58 nm, the optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is 7.3%, and the beam quality factor M2 = 1.82, The 3.8 μm laser calibration amplification output was achieved.
