Abstract

AbstractNetwork enabled working capabilities are a central development theme for both civil and military domains, given technology trends and human interaction needs. Enterprise Architectures are essential modelling aids to support high‐level planning of such systems, with an operational perspective. MODAF, the Ministry of Defence Architectural Framework, is one such tool for UK defence applications. This paper introduces complementary modelling elements for MODAF to better account for the Human Factors concerns of Enterprise Architectures. A set of Human Views is proposed and a civil application to the implementation of a tele‐working scheme is explored.
