Abstract
We conducted an exploratory study aimed to investigate if repeated exercise sessions (12 sessions; twice a week for 6 weeks) using the OBIE® Interactive Exergaming Platform would improve executive functions and aerobic fitness (VO2max) in children and adolescents with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and comorbid ADHD. Through this novel, innovative “gamified” exercise, it was hypothesized that the participants would demonstrate improvements in aerobic fitness and executive functions.
