Abstract
In order to establish a novel design framework of the operation feeling, we propose two unique approaches. One is the basic study including neuroscience for a haptic illusion in the subliminal aspect. This illusion shows the influences of various sense modalities that are concerned in the normal haptic information processing of humans. We should consider these subliminal influences in the feeling design. Another is the investigation of the transparent and remote touching. We believe that this enhances the perceived quality of tactile information.
