Abstract
In this study, we developed a real-time image mosaicking system that can synthesize a panorama image using 512×512 images at 250 fps. In the image mosaicking system, the KLT tracker was used for feature extraction and its hardware implementation on a high-speed vision platform enables high-frame-rate and real-time image mosaicking. Its effectiveness is demonstrated by showing a panorama image for outdoor scene mosaicked in real time.
