Abstract

This study aims at realizing a system which attends a human being and watches it. The system consists of a few of small mobile robots equipped with CCD camera and a terminal computer. The robot can know own position from an image processing and detects a human position and posture. A mobility robot has a landmark. Because the robot photographs each other's landmarks, the robot can know each other's positions and posture from the image of other robot. Therefore a local coordinate between robots is provided. This report describes a position measurement experiment result by the stereo measurement using robots which has only one camera.
