Abstract

In this paper, We discussed about a controlling robot using iPhone(iPod touch). Recently, smart phones are popular that have a touch panel interface and various sensors. Such movement is the cause of IRT(Information and Robotics technology) progression. Smart control method is required for controlling robot by using such rich sensor device. Three approaches of robot control interface is presented here; First, a robot control method by iPhone application with button interface. Second, Master-slave experiment by virtual 3D model in touch device. Third, Feedback control interface using acceleration sensor of the touch device. We show the demonstration of the KHR robot and 3DCG simulations.
