In the name of God, the Most Beneficient and the Most Merciful.May peace and blessing of God come for all of us.On behalf of Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya, I am pleased to welcome you to the Second International Conference on Maritime Technology and Its Application. We are proud to run this event which is held every two years and It is attended by academia, lecturers, researchers, scientific experts, and practitioners as a means of communication to improve the quality of education and learning, research, and strengthen networks and collaborations among institutions both national and international coming from 7 countries (UK, Netherland, Russia, Taiwan, Japan, India, Malysia, and Indonesia). The dynamics of thought on Maritime Sectors involves three integrated pillars, namely ecosystem, economy, and social. They become the future directions. However, these developments could not be separated from the role of Human Resources which must grow or change into more advance and stronger in order to be able to manage the potentials of existing Marine or Water Resources.PPNS is one of the Vocational High Education Institution that is consistently develops technology in maritime field providing a dynamic and progressive learning environment to produce skilled and professional graduates in their knowledge background. Therefore, International collaboration, networking, sharing experience and knowledge is very important to improve human resource development for supporting a blue economy transition of the Maritime Sector into a Sustainable Future.
