Abstract

A 2-D electron dynamic model on dielectric window surface under TE 11 -mode and TM 11 -mode in vacuum is established, and the actions of microwave transverse electric field and longitudinal electric field coupled with the dielectric surface electrostatic field are considered. The influences of different electron status and microwave electromagnetic parameters are investigated, such as the electron emergence angle, the amplitude and frequency of the electric field and the phase of the electric field when electrons are emitted from the surface. Electron trajectories under such situation and state parameters when electrons return to the dielectric surface, such as the transit time and the impact energy, are obtained by simulation.
