Abstract

Two-dimensional electro-optical trapping of single particles is demonstrated by suppressing in-plane Brownian motion based on fluorescence tracking and electrokinetic feedback force. Trapping of single microbeads with significantly improved performance over 1D-trapping is demonstrated.
