Abstract
c-Fos is a proto-oncogene that is also known as an early response gene to mechanical stress in various cell types. In this study, we firstly found out that applying hypergravity to pre-chondrogenic ATDC5 cells significantly reduces c-Fos gene expression. Hereby we performed a detailed study of c-Fos expression under hypergravity with regard to intensity and duration of the stimulation.
