Abstract

We have built a new spatial information database, having the function that is frequently used in an autonomous mobile robot. In this research, we study both the mobile robot and flight robot, focusing on spatial information database. The function of the database includes "add object information", "various robots are available" and "add measurement information". We report the result that performed the 6D environment mapping by using image, distance information with the RGB-D camera and odometry. However, there is a problem lies in 6D environment mapping, which is to reduce the error of odometry, Perhaps this can be solved in the future.
