Abstract

In recently years, there are a lot of elderly or handicapped people who have disadvantage of going to somewhere. In consideration of them, the authors research using "i-mobility" which is compact electric car in Human-centered city, i-mobility supports not only elderly or handicapped people but also physically unimpaired people to go somewhere. This research proposed a system provides information and control i-mobility to avoid a risk in an intersection which is of high risk for traffic accidents using environment information. The authors also developed a pickup system for i-mobility, which is called on demand not based on the distance to the users but based on the time to get to the users.
