Abstract
We propose a new concept of a torque cancelling system which stabilizes mechanical sway in architectures. The torque cancelling system cancels the reaction moment generated by motion of an object. In the first step, we need to know the reaction moment but this is very difficult to achieve. However, it can be easily achieved using the the parallel solution scheme developed based upon a finite element approach. Once knowing the reaction moment, it can be cancelled by adding an anti-torque. An example of the torque cancelling is demonstrated using a simple twin-rotor system. Also, a numerical example of triaxial torque cancelling is shown to verify the use of the scheme.
