Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, including lockdowns and school closures, are thought to have negatively impacted the mental health of children and young people (CYP). However, the impact for clinically referred CYP is less clear. We investigated differences in the mental health of CYP referred to specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) before and since the onset of the pandemic.
