Abstract

Introduction and aims of the study: cervical cancer is the fourth cause of cancer death among women in Brazil. Taking the current COVID-19 pandemic in consideration, the screening for cervical cancer with Pap smear may have been badly affected. The adherence to the test has diminished, maybe due to people's fear of frequenting health services.
