Abstract

Background: Social isolation and activity restriction (eg, encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic) have been associated with an exacerbation of pruritus and stress reactive dermatoses eg, psoriasis. To our knowledge there are no studies of the cutaneous associations of perceived touch deprivation (PTD), a factor often encountered during social isolation.
