Abstract
In this paper, we present a novel hybrid driving method to improve pitting issue caused by inhomogeneous efficiency of LED device in low luminous situation. By applying PWM (Pulse‐Width‐Modulation) in low gray scale region and PAM (Pulse‐Amplitude‐Modulation) in middle and high gray scale region, we achieved verifying the novel PHM (Pulse‐Hybrid‐Modulation) method in mini LED display platform.
