Abstract
Psychoeducation, communication skills training, problem solving, and parenting strategies may improve the course of early-onset bipolar disorder (BD). This presentation addresses complexities of conducting family-focused treatment (FFT) with adolescents and young adults (transitional-aged youth, or TAY) who have been diagnosed with or are at high risk for BD.
