Abstract
We previously showed that patients use the MyChart patient portal to view test results in the ED. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Social Vulnerability Index (SVI) combines geographic socioeconomic, household composition & disability, minority status & language, and housing type & transportation data into a single score. We hypothesized that SVI scores would predict disparities in MyChart use while in the ED.
