Abstract
The Kerion Celsi (KC) is an inflammatory tinea capitis,. It is a public health problem listed by the World Health Organization as the second most common childhood dermatological infection. Proper diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent permanent sequelae. Aim: To determine the characteristics of children with KC in an Outpatient Clinic of a tertiary, pediatric, reference center in Costa Rica between January 01, 2009 to December 31, 2019. Methods: Retrospective, observational study based on chart review.
