Abstract

Background: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) has been associated with increased risk of adverse cardiovascular outcomes. It is unclear if HS negatively impact outcomes of patients admitted for heart failure exacerbation. This study aims to compare the outcomes of patients primarily admitted for acute decompensation of systolic or diastolic heart failure (ADHF) with and without a secondary diagnosis of HS.
