Abstract

Background: Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) is an important staging and prognostic tool for melanoma. However, there exists a knowledge gap regarding whether socioeconomic factors influence the type of care that melanoma patients receive. Our aim was to investigate the relationship between socioeconomic factors and receipt of SLNB among melanoma patients.
