Abstract

Background: The presence of enlarged, nonrimmed dermal papillae containing tortuous capillaries is one of the main reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) features of psoriasis. The aim of this study was to assess and quantify any difference in the density and diameter of dermal papillae between psoriatic lesions and healthy skin using RCM.
