Abstract

Introduction: Nail conditions impact appearance, function, and quality of life of patients. Assessment of treatment outcomes from the patient perspective requires patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). PROMs vary in quality. Selection of the best PROM for research and clinical practice requires appraisal of psychometric properties. This study critically appraises the psychometric properties of nail-specific PROMs using COSMIN guidelines.
