Abstract
Background: There is limited information regarding patients with drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) in the Latin American population. We evaluated patients consulted to the Department of Dermatology service with a suspected diagnosis of DRESS from hospitals affiliated to the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Our study aimed to characterize clinical, histopathologic, and/or laboratory findings significantly correlated with a final diagnosis of DRESS.
