Abstract

The American Chemical Society (ACS)’s National Meeting and Exposition is a top-tier networking and educational event for the global chemistry community, with an impressive program of scientific sessions covering all fields of chemistry. The 261st National Meeting, with the theme ‘Macromolecular Chemistry: The Second Century,’ was to be held in San Antonio, Texas, but due to the coronavirus (COVID-19;SARS-COV-2) pandemic was rescheduled to a virtual meeting to be held in April. The meeting comprised 2 weeks of live and broadcast content, with over 9,000 papers presented. Parallel to live sessions, there were on-demand Industry Thought Leader Sessions where exhibitors showcased their innovations in chemical products, technologies and services, as well as on-demand poster sessions. This report covers some of the medicinal chemistry posters and presentations delivered at the meeting. Copyright © 2021 Clarivate Analytics
