Abstract
The Cardiac Care Network of Ontario (CCN) STEMI working group is comprised of interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, administrators from PCI and non-PCI hospitals, emergency medical services (EMS) physicians and paramedics. The goal of the working group is to ensure delivery of high quality, evidence based, STEMI care for all patients in Ontario. As a first step, CCN undertook an environmental scan to capture the current state of STEMI care to identify gaps, barriers and variation in the Province.
