Abstract

A 26-year-old female presented with acute onset livedo reticularis of her right lower extremity. The livedo reticularis appeared about 1 month after an anterior tibial vein thrombosis. The DVT occurred after arthroscopic knee surgery and was associated with severe pain and weakness. Her skin changes would appear to fade, but then would return with increased pain, hypersensitivity, and swelling. Her medical history was significant for complex regional pain syndrome of her left ankle secondary to previous facture.
