Abstract

Background: Research studies have shown that deficiency of 25-Hydroxyvitamin D levels is associated with an increased risk of developing Parkinson's Disease (PD). The exact role that 25-Hydroxyvitamin D plays in the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of Parkinson's Disease remains unclear. The present study was undertaken to explore potential associations between vitamin D levels and gait, posture, and balance in individuals with PD.
