Abstract

This paper introduced an extraction method of Kando story for encouraging consumers' emotion and obtaining empathy into the Kando requirement understanding support process. For an extraction of this story, Show Me Your Values and Empathy Map have been introduced into World Cafe of the support process as an introduction method of the Kando element with its story and a consideration method in the final sheet. Furthermore, the process of new World Cafe was proposed. As the result, we could extract Kando stories via a viewpoint of the customer who will provide them. Moreover, for assigning to the QFD matrix of the Idea Creation Support System, we could show that Kando story was verified by Kando words, via a realization of new Kando story through abstracting obtained Kando story using Kando words. Therefore, these procedures are presented in this paper.
