Abstract
AbstractA new plasma display panel with a microbridge structure has been proposed and its characteristics have been measured. This new microbridge plasma display has a high operating gas pressure (400 to 700 torr) and a short gap (20 to 30 μm) between the cathode and anode. This structure has holes in the cathode to reduce the current and ultimately to eliminate the resistor‐in‐cell structure used in DC plasma display applications.
