Abstract

Stem cell recruitment to sites of injury is a common repair mechanism in organs with high regenerative potential (liver, skin, lung). “Satellite cells” are mononuclear progenitor cells responsible for normal muscle growth and repair. This study was undertaken to understand the role of the satellite stem cell in myometrial healing after CD.
