Abstract

Health-related quality of life (HRQOL) of Head and Neck Cancer (HANC) patients’ is shaped by the patient-clinician relationship. Assessing Quality of Life (QOL) allows the identification of patient needs and assessment of the quality of rehabilitation services provided. The Patient Concerns Inventory (PCI) is a condition specific prompt list, which is filled out by patients following surgical treatment of HANC, prior to each consultation. It encourages a more patient centred and holistic approach during follow-up consultations.
