Abstract

Heat transfer is a very important area in many engineering fields. Heat transfer analysis is required in many applications for testing the temperature distribution over the surface, studying reliability of any cooling or heating devices, studying interparametric relations of a system, and so forth. Many linear and nonlinear equations arise in modeling heat transfer in various kinds of systems and efficient numerical methods are used for their simulation. Composite system is one such important field, which requires special numerical methods for their heat transfer problems. In this paper, we have discussed some numerical methods applied on heat transfer problems in composite systems.
